1. Overview
Yuvraj Consulting Services (“we,” “us,” “our”) offers software, web development, mobile app development, consulting and related IT services (collectively, “Services”) to clients (“you,” “client”). Because Services are intangible and often involve custom work, standard return rules for physical goods do not always apply. This policy outlines when refunds are permitted, how they are processed, and under what conditions.
2. Applicability
- This policy applies to all purchases of Services, including software development, consulting, subscriptions, support, and maintenance contracts.
- It does not apply to third-party software or tools we license on your behalf (those are subject to the vendor’s terms).
- This policy does not replace or override any separate agreement (e.g. Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work) between us and you; if there is any conflict, the terms of that agreement prevail.
3. No “Returns” in Traditional Sense
Because Services are delivered in stages and are often customized, there is no “return” in the physical goods sense. Instead, you may request refunds or credits under the conditions below.
4. Refund Eligibility & Conditions
4.1 Milestones & Deposits
- Many projects require a deposit or advance payment (e.g. 20–50%) before work begins. That deposit is non-refundable, except in rare cases of non-performance by us.
- After each milestone is delivered and accepted by you (in writing or via sign-off), payments are considered final for that milestone.
4.2 Cancellation Before Work Starts
- If you cancel the project before we begin substantive work, you may receive a refund of any prepaid sums minus administrative fees or costs already incurred (e.g. third-party tool subscriptions, vendor costs).
- Any work in progress, partial deliverables, or commitments made on your behalf may be deducted from refund.
4.3 Cancellation During the Project
- If you cancel after work has commenced but before full completion, we will invoice you for work done (based on hours or percentage complete).
- Any unused portion of prepaid funds (after deducting work done, costs, and administrative fees) may be refunded at our discretion.
- You must submit the cancellation in writing, and we will provide a deliverable of in-progress work (if feasible) that you may retain.
4.4 Completed Deliverables
- Once final deliverables have been handed over and you have accepted them (or not raised formal objections within a defined review period, e.g. 7 days), no refund will be offered.
- If defects or errors are found, we will fix them per the defect correction / warranty clause in your contract (but that does not constitute a refund).
4.5 Subscription / Maintenance / Support Services
- For recurring services (maintenance, support, updates), you may cancel future payments. We do not typically refund prior periods already rendered.
- If we fail to deliver agreed service levels, prorated compensation or credit may be offered (per SLA or contract).
5. Refund Process
- You submit a written refund request to our support or billing email (e.g. support@yuvrajconsultingservices.com) with project ID, invoice number, reason, and supporting information.
- We review within 7 business days, evaluate work done, costs, deliverables, and respond with an approval, partial refund, or denial.
- Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, etc.) within 14 business days unless otherwise agreed.
- Any bank or transaction fees incurred are deducted from the refund amount (unless otherwise agreed).
6. Exceptions & Limitations
- We do not refund hours already worked, costs already committed, third party license fees incurred, or time allocated to subcontractors.
- Refunds will not be given if you fail to provide required input, approvals, or resources in timely fashion causing delays or additional costs.
- Disputes must be raised within 30 days of delivery or invoice. After that, you forfeit right to claim a refund or dispute.
- This policy does not cover fraud, force majeure, or termination per contract.
7. Modifications to Policy
We reserve the right to update or change this Return & Refund Policy at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
8. Governing Law & Dispute
Any dispute regarding this policy or refunds shall be governed by the laws of [Your State / Country]. If a court cannot enforce a portion, the remaining parts remain in effect.
